I would like it to show all the new posts when you hit it, even the ones in the VIP section. Only if you're VIP of course.

It doesn't for me. I always have to go to the forums section and look at the VIP to see if there are any new posts. It's really not that big of a deal though so I'll quit whining.:D

seriously it would be a good idea if it could be easily done. that way i wont continue to forget about the VIP section. but if its like a big deal then i can live with it. maybe ill just start switching fingers so i can give my index a rest.

Ya know... I bet it works for me because my primary usergroup is Admin. While your guys primary usergroup is regular member and your secondary is VIP.

bespurcell -- I'm going to use you as a test. I just changed your primary usergroup to VIP. Let me know if this changed the "New Post" issue.

I think I have a fix for this that will be even better... Gotta renew the vBulletin License first though... grrr... Here goes another $85.

Ive never managed a web site. I didn't know there where such expenses involved. Now I'm really glad I became a VIP.

I've installed a new "new post" hack. It doesn't work from the main s10planet.com page but does work once you are inside s10planet/forum.... I'll be correcting that soon I just don't have the time to do it now... gotta get back to work

What about the "new posts in" link? I just put the open forum in there and the vip room... Would you guys like to see specific forums in there or just remove it an leave just the one new post link?

ok... I removed the other link to keep it from being confusing.

Thanks again to the guys that donated... I had to renew the license first before I could do this hack so if it wasn't for them it wouldn't have been possible.

One Prob Mike, when I first log in it always says no new posts but, over on the left side of the page it still says how many new posts there are. I click that and then the no new posts button changes to new posts and works fine. I hope that made sense.

right.... that is an issue that i need to work out.... it is because vBadvanced is looking under the "forum" directory... I will fix it later.
