Lil Help Simple Question.

Here is the deal, Most of you may know me or seen me on here, but its serious time now, I come home from Iraq in Late July. during this time My truck will become the 383 Stroker i HAVE always wanted..
Does anyone know of any good shops in or around NC that does everything from suspenison to motors to paint.
Also are there any other sites to go to for help with motor swaps, cooling systems, front and rear suspension setups, wiring, other than Jags that run .

Suspension, there is Lateral G and ProTouring S10.

Motor swaps that are S-10 specific would be just any S10 forum...try V8S10.com or S10V8.com...or whatever it is. Cooling would fall into the same site area.

Wiring. Well, most GM stuff has the body and engine wireing pretty much seperate. So your lights and such are going to work the same. Gagues are the only real question area. The motor part depends on what engine UR going to do. Carbed...easy. FI...you got options. Assuming youre going with the older gen small block. You could do a TPI and computer with a custom chip. Something newer like ODB2-based injection and a custom tune. Or a packaged EFI/PCM from say Holley or Edelbrock.

Kinda need to know your options and get more of a direction there I think 1st.

i think you put the emphassis on the wrong sylible! should have been more like " i have ALWAYS wanted.":D

other than that i think it might be hard to find a shop that does everything including paint, most places only do mechanical or only do paint. there are some really high end hot rod shops that do tho. if you can find a place like that you will be set.

Mooresville is nothing but race shops/garages because of all the Nascar teams there. Alot around Charotte and Greensboro as well. Like Zygoat said it's rare to see a shop that does all in one.

Yeah I am from that area, lived there all 25 years of my life.. NASCAR Country . I know some of you are haters of Nascar so I will spare u . But Just wanted as many ideas as possible.. Yeah I will try to find a few sites and see what I can find.. I dont think there is an s-10 out there that I plan on making.. but protouring s-10 Might be where I find one lik emine. Im setting mine up for road course.. I want it to handle. Most people just make street machine or a drag machine.. I want Road Course Dog.
