IFS locker...

Where in the world can I find an IFS front locker for my 02 pickup? Im out of places to look. My other question is will the posi lock cable sysstem work on an 02? It says it works up to 01? same thing right?

It is the same size as the rear (7.625) I would however suggest a limited slip over a locker. Try a zexel

there is no locker that will fit the front of the s-10, now you may be able to put the front diff out of a H3 hummer in there. Startring in 08 i think they have a electric locker in the front option

Id help you but my internet is being lazy again, I do believe if you have the vacuum actuator you can do it, I made mine for under 30 bucks including shipping and all parts.

No, I didnt lock my front diff. I made my own posi lok system. If you are vacuum actuated, then you can replace it with a locking cable system.

Lock-Right makes a mechanical locker for the front 7.2" differential in S-10s and Blazers.

I may be wrong, but even w/ the mechanical locker... it doesn't give you posi, its still 1 wheel right?

ILOUTFITTER is talking about a Posi lock cable system, they sell a kit through Summit (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=POS%2D500&N=700+400118+115&autoview=sku)

andysutt I beleive your right. With this cable it will not lock up your front end it will just engage the 4x4 eliminating the vaccum function. You do need a locker installed replacing the factory open diff. I just bought a powertrax lockright locker for the rear but I am not sure if it fits up front. I have heard great things about this locker and they have a good warranty. Let me know if you find a reasonable alternative.
