Last night while siiting in my driveway after i just got home, i noticed that my engine felt like it was going to die. It kept dropping in rpms and lugging. I reved it up a bit to see what would happen and it was fine, then on the way back down.. it shut of(died). today after i got home from school i popped the hood a grabbed the throttle response, it has some play in it up and down, like i can wiggle it up and down... not too much tho, maybe like a couple millimeters each way. One of my neighbors told me it was the throttle body. yes or no?
possibly. A little play is normal in the trottle linkage. sounds more like a bad sensor, injector, or vacume leak though.
run some seafoam.. check vacume..fuel pressor..and injector connections

im with him^^^^
it sounds to me like it is in the fuel delevery somewhere. If it is a TBI truck, it could be your spring that holds the fuel pressure regulator. I have seen it where that rusts and breaks, if it has rusted, it is a good chance that would affect your truck. Has it thrown any codes?
