alright, is there a way to get a longer screw into the termial that goes onto the battery? While i was playing with it it seemed as if the bolt wouldnt come out of it...im thinking im going to need longer to hook up my power wire from it. any help is always good!

Yes, Napa sells extensions for side mount batteries. their like $5.00

yeah they use them for diesel batteries.

but my problem was i couldnt get the current bolt out of the current terminal....so uhm...they sell somethin for this too? or should i pull REALLY hard? heh

Well, I cant give you any advice on how to get it out but they make new bolts just for hooking up power wires to the battery. Check this out....http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROCCPSMB

i actually am using this at the moment... i really dont know how to get the current bolt out(if its broken in there)... if its not broken.. then you should be able to get it out with a good wrench......
i dunno if this is your problem... im reading it wrong.. sorry

they work great... i had a regular old hookup.. i decided to go with this one because i have my stereo stuff and alarm hooked up to it... its a good buy
im gonna hook one up thisweekend. i would do it tomorrow, but wont be able to get to my truck till this weekend

i just took a razor and cut off some rubber on the end of the terminal...made it so it would fit...worked for me!

I use Monster Car Poer terminals. I have both an e-fan and MSD 6A hook up to them. The Monster's make it real easy to hook up accs, I don't even need to remove the Battery power to add/remove accs.

i use a stud style bolt for hooking acc to the battery. they'er real cheap

as for the terminal being stuck.....spray some PB penitrating oil on it and let it soak for a a little while. then put some vise grips on it "tight" and "tap" it off with a hamer. once you get 1/4 turn on it it'll release and come out easy. Yes it will screw up the bolt
