Anybody watch that crap last nite??

First off you got fit and finish problems with ANOTHER Coddington Hot Rod. This motor guy ,I dont know who he is, but if I ran Boyds, this guy would never do work for me again. This is the 4th time theyve fired one of his motors only to find a problem and this doesnt even include my famous Non Vortec intake on a Vortec Head! How many others fitting are going to leak when it actually gets run somemore? Who puts fittings in without teflon tapes or plumbers putty, god this guy is bad. And why doesnt Boyd have a engine in house specialist to help out witht he final details.Boy if I was rich and had money to burn, I'd have the Coddingtons shop build me a rod now wouldnt i? NOT!!

Gotta love the attempts Discovery uses in there staged scripting, oh so real like!!

Boyd acts under cool for weeks knowing Charley wants to go to Chips to do the pre and final work for his Riddler car!
Best part about that is he doesnt share this with Jo, his wife??? How many here would do that and if you did your wife would do what??
Then Jo, oh my god, she acted is if Boyd had died and the will didnt leave her anything!! If she didnt bonk Charley a few times and enjoy it so much, why all the emotion of a death associated with and employee leaving. I wonder if after the fake craying session she didnt go over to Boyd and kick him in the nuts for her being the last to know. Maybe Boyd did this so she couldnt get another load installed???
Dah Wayne comes back from vacation and pats people on the back and uses much better language when you see him at relatives showing his true foul mouthed self!! Dont you change your language styles around different types of people unless your really that crude. I know I do!! But in the end the look on Dah Waynes face said it all, he knows there SCREWED without Charley and Beetle!!
Finally Boyd showing the last of his lack of class!!! Cant explain this one, you'd just have to see it, boy what a ***!!! You leave to go to the competition!!! Not even in the same class or anything, 2 completely different approach ands style shops!! Acts like Charley was his son who was shunning the family!!!

I avoid the show as much as possible. "Overhaulin'" is a much better show, in my opinion -- besides, it has Foose!

Charley left!!!! He wanted it to be just a temporary deal to make a name for himself by possibly having Chip win the riddler award. Boyd wanted no part and basically told Charley he was nothing without Boyd and owned Boyd more than his blood would pay.
The JO acts like someone had just died when she approached Charley at the end about the leaving. This crying act was so hard and so bad you would think that she had Charleys kid and he was going off to war and knew he would be killed!!

I had been waiting a week to see him leave from the last show.It just boiled down to one thing,all of those guys are way over worked and unappreciated.Look at how many times they would work very long hours and weekends to make a dead line.Only to have to do it all over again but in less time and with twice the work.And the guys that were team players on the prior build who gave all they could give are now a**holes for not giving up there personal life for Boyd yet again.You ever notice on those longs nights you never saw Boyd's old a** there.Charlie just had enough of the bullsh*t and wanted to go work for a true car builder and designer.Were he would be appreciated and would have time for his family.And Beatle was smart enough to go with Charlie.He knew with Charlie gone it would go from real bad to unbelievably real bad.And at the end Charlie was still wanting to be the good guy and be nice about it but Boyd would have none of that.He just basicly called Charlie a piece of sh*t for leaving.He tried to act like Charlie didn't give it his all while he worked for him.Just kept on talking trash to Charlie and he just said im sorry you feel that way.Up until one point.Charlie was saying he was sorry that it was ending like this and Boyd said your not sorry,and Charlie said NO im not sorry for leaving.That was the one time Charlie almost lost his cool.I was just dying for him to knock the hell out of Boyd but he didn't.Then Boyd told him to get out of his sight.Charlie got up and stuck his hand out and Boyd did nothing.Charlie said not even a handshake and Boyd said no.Charlie just said im sorry it's like that.I was dying for him to pop him one then but I just thought no that would not be like Charlie.In the end the real winners are Foose,Charlie,and Beatle as a team.And the huge loser is Boyd because he lost the most talented guy he had.And it's just gonna be a matter of time till the rest start jumping ship,and I love it.I bet after watching American Hot Rod people who were thinking of applying at Boyds changed their minds now LOL!!And Duh wayne was in a panic attack at the end of the show.Because he knows the shop is f*cked with out Charlie.Notice Duh wayne said let him go do it then come back.You could just see Boyds top blow LMAO I LOVED IT!!Well im done with my rant.But boy did that show put a smile one my face,and its still there today.

The "DEADLINE" is the plot of basicly all the reality builder shows.Monster garage,Monster house,American choppper,American Hot Rod,Over haulin and even Southern Steel AKA "Southern chopper".I think the Southern Steel guys try way to hard to be like OCC.That and make us southern boys look like we all have no teeth and act like retards.:tardbang:


I watched the first pilot when it was called Souther Chopper.Let's just say they done some major make overs.For one they got the old dude some **** false teeth so it wasn't talking with a lisp because of the lack of teeth.They redone the shop and added some promotional banners everywere and hired a few more dumb a** dweebs.I mean im hoping theyt succeed judst because they are country boys so I watch.It has it's humor.And they have made some sharp a** bikes too.I just wished they didn't acy so dam retared so much.

I swear that's not how we are.Well that's not how most of us are.I will admit that I do have the same redneck accent as they do.But that's just a part of growing up in the south.Most if not all have a small amount of a southern accent.They might try to cover it up but they still have it.I don't try and hide mine because im proud of my southern roots.Like old Hank sang it"a country boy can survive"!!But we do not act like totall dip wads like they do on that show.It is funny and I know people who do act like that but who don't have dumb a** people in there neck of the woods lol.

I liked the last painter they tried to use. Had 3 weeks to do tanks and fenders and really did nothing. Could have lite a fire under his *** and still he woudlnt have moved. Threat after slam after threat and the guy still didnt get it.
