New belt length

Hey, Im gonna pull my AIR pump off of my truck. (No cat, so I dont need it.) Does anyone know how to measure belt length for a serpentine system? Surely there is a formula or a method

you should just be able to go to the parts store and get one for a enginge that did not have a AIR pump

wrap a rope around you pulleys, mark the rope, and measure how long.

what about the tensioner, is there a certan length it should be tensioned?

there should be an arrow or three lines on the main casting that line up with the arrow on the tensioner arm. Just put a soket on the pully bolt and line up the arrows. This is easyer with 2 people.
I found a old spare in the garage from my 89 for an air pump delete.i used gm belt# 14102643/ goodyear belt#6pk2007 on my old truck it might be the same belt you need.
