sm 465 trans pull type slave cylinder ??

i have a sm465 4 speed bulldog trans in my truck. i was wondering if anyone has used a pulltype slave cylinder on this trans. i bought a slave dont know the brand but i cant seem to get it to pull the fork back enough to release the clutch. i put a adjustable pivot ball in made no diffarnce any advice appreciated thanks

are you sure you have the throwout bearing in correctly, if you put it in the clutch fork wrong you will have this problem

yea i double checked it the only thing i can see is the slave isnt pulling back as far as it needs two. it is pulling the lenth of the rod. do they make this type of slave with a longer stroke?

as far as i know there is only one slave for the 465, it was only hydro for a few years

the slave isnt stock. it is aftermarket type used on dirt and drag cars. it hooks between the fork and frame
