video card help.

ok so while back I tore apart an older pc,well I was looking at the parts today and noticed I have an ati 3d rage pro turbo agp.Now is this better then my via vt 8237 or no? anyone feel free to look up the specs and let me know,if this card is even a little better then what I have now Ill se it!

The best way to handle any computer problem is with a sawzall or a BFH. Dynamite works in a pinch.

well I tried to install on this pc cause the card says its agp and I have an agp slot but it wont fit into my pc so looks like Im buying a card next month

That's made to fit in a Compaq with the daughter card.

It wasn't as good either. I think 50 megs of shared ram is better than 6 megs of dedicated ram. LOL

That'd be my guess. Prices are falling quick and you can grab cards that are still awesome for $100 now. Decent cards that'll need replacing again fairly soon are running about $50

ok so I got my pc squared away,my game problem was due to the fact in device manager it was showing 2 prime and 2 secondary channels!

ok now you mean IDE channels.......

If so, that set up would be correct...most Mobo's allow 4 IDE devices

and more if it has SATA as well...:)
