I didn't realize Accel made plugs. Seems like most people stick with the delcos for best results.

Never had any luck with their plugs, or coils for that matter. They make some killer plug wires tho.

accel quality doesn't seem like its as good as it can be. I had one of their coils and it went bad in not even a year, or 8 months for that matter. Plus they didn't even make it right, the plug had to modified for the harness to hold correctly.

I had an Accel coil for 4 whole months before it crapped out. Back in the day I tried "Yellow Jackets" a few times. Never again. I always had great luck with Autolites. As much as I dislike blue oval stuff, their plugs rock. My son and I just freshed his LT1 and went with MSD coil and Opti-crap. We think the coil was burning up ICM's. After losing 2, we went back to the stock coil and all is well since. Overall, IMO the General has his act together. Unless you're going full goose bozo, you can't go wrong with GM parts.

I bought that exact tune up kit a few years ago for my 2000 S-10. I never had any problem with it at all. No real performance gain or anything like that.
