i can't belive this forum is empty. I know i'm anal about keeping my truck clean, In fact I use diffent wax for summer and winter(we don't fall or spring here. It's either HOT are COLD). i scrub the frame every if it get too dirty. by the way after cleaning your frame you can keep it clean by spray a solution of J&J baby oil on the under carage and the inner wheel wells. This make it easy to clean the next time you wash and keep mud from sticking. solution of cascade can be used to clean the engine and it drys spotless. have a wax buildup on plastic parts,,, peanut butter will take that right off.

come on, tell us all your secrets........ we won't tell

simply put since I live in Wisconsion and the weather changes like the mood swings of a pregnant woman I use Rain-X Wet and Dry spray wax with an orbital buffer, keeps mud, road tar,bug guts, and salt from sticking to my black beauty, and Rain-X for the windows as well. For that occasional nice sunny day when ya really want to show off your ride somewheres I use McGuires, just make sure you get it out of all the little grooves otherwise you give yourself an unwanted pinstripe of goo!

The one product that I absolutely can not do without is my Griots Boars Hair Brush for cleaning the exterior of my vehicles. Super soft so it doesn't induce any swirls into the paint like sponges, rags, or washmits do. $70.00 but worth every penny. I've had mine for 4+ years and wash about 4-5 cars a week with it and I haven't noticed a decrease in bristles.

I stand behind all of Griots products. They are the only ones that touch my truck.

simply put because of the extreme ferocity in weather changes here in good old Wisconsin I use Rain-x wet/dry spray wax and use an orbital buffer, Rain-X on the windows as well with the amount of crap that seems to direct itself straight into my viewing area, keeps the bug juice off too. On the off chance that it might be nice outside 1 or 2 days a year I use Maguires show gloss, makes the black look like pure silk!

Well, it rains here from time to time. That keeps it clean, doesn't it?

I wax my car once a month all year except for the summer I do it twice a month. I usually have 2-3 steps.

First I use meguiars #something polish system IF I have alot of oxidation.

Second, I go over with meguiars color X polymer wax

Third and MOST important is 1-2 coats of turtle wax ultra shine carnuba wax. You just cant beat the stuff!
