Ok, got a little brain buster for yall out there. In the near future im predicting some serious traction problems. Because of were my exhaust pipe is routed, slapper bars are out of the question. Until i get my gears and locker in there does anyone have a pretty good temp. solution?

The pic sucks, because it was with my phone, but it gets the idea across

Yeah here's a solution, change the exhaust. Traction is going to be way more inportent the your tip. Just go with a turndown because any devise for redused hop is going to need the space.

but i like the exhaust so much right there, plus it is really loud now, i cant imagine how loud it would be if it were dumping below the bed

a little update, i changed my o2 sensor today, now if i launch off of the line hard, it breaks the tires away

Dump 500 lbs of sand in the rear.
That'll solve your traction problem. . .

run a chain from the ubolt to the shakles if you do it right it'll keep down axel wrap.

It's a solution, just not a good one

jc whitney sells springs that bolt to the top front of the leaf springs and stop wheel hop. look kinda like helper springs but shorter. they are 70 bucks. don't know what they would do for traction. but they will bolt to your leafspring so you can keep your exhaust. which is a nice setup. I like the way it looks coming out the side.
