MACK truck tire

NICE NICE NICE, Caught a tire standing upright in the road like the tread off a big truck tire. Got the bottom bumper piece of my xtreme package. Its cracked in several spots and broke in two places. Some paint is missing. Any soultions on fixing this or what to do thanks.

hmm...fiberglass the backside of it and bondo the front of it...or get a new bumper.

I wouldnt use bondo, being the son of a bodyman, and watching my father do work, there is a special filler/putty for plastic bumpers. Bondo doesnt have enough flexability in it, and your paint will start to spider crack/chip/flake off where the bondo is. Get the special plastic bumper repair kit and use that.

Also, don't fiberglass polyurethane. It's gotta remain plyable (the poly.)

I was in my TA going to Gainesville on I-10 and (ironically) a 1st Gen Blazer in front of me ran over some bigrig tire debris. Flung it up on my hood and over my car. I got some hood scuffs/scratches, a nick in the windsheild glass and one pissed off attitude.

I Hate road debris. DANZ I tried that site they have everything from rice rocket bumpers to 2008 Cobalt SS but nothing for the dimes. Thanks for the site though.

You may want to call them and ask- can't hurt to ask-sy/ty+cameostuff so maybe the site is not alway's updated-you never know!:cool:
