This website can guess if you are male of female...

Ok, little security education for everyone on the internet. Any website can figure out what sites you have and haven't visited (this is not the same as figuring out what site you have gone to, just which site in a pre-made list you have or haven't visited).

Anyways, this website plays with this ability:
http://www.mikeonads.com/2008/07/13/using-your-browser-url-history-estimate-gender/

It will guess your gender based on your website viewing history.

Oh, and if you are curious as to how you can avoid having someone do something like this, you'll have to clear your browser history every time you leave a site.

It's interesting. It's pickin up info from IE that is local on the hard drive. It isn't picking up the portable Firefox off the flashdrive.
Probably would have ended up with the result 99% deviant.

Did you try it using firefox? It can only read the history of the browser it is being used in, not from other browsers on your computer. Of course, maybe you don't want to use that other browser..... ;)
