Anyone been catching the Barrett Jackson auction on the Speed Channel. They've been running a lot of old Camaros and Vettes across the block. I think it's suppose to be on all weekend. You ever see a '53 vette. At least I think it was a '53. There were only like 300 made.

53's are weird and lack power, but extremely rare. Yup been catching the auctions every now and then lately.

Really wish they would add a complete list easy to find so I can get it near the easy chair!!

53 was the first year with a blue flame inline 6. Strange to think the modern 405hp z06 came from an inline 6 huh.

Yeah I've been wacthing, I would have taken the Black 67' 427/435 Corvette Roadster. If I could afford it, LOL

I've seen the Barret-Jackson auctions before, but watching this at the grille at the hockey rink and home now for about and hour wants me to shoot someone!!

Its bad enough that the average guy has a hard time affording cars as it is, but if this sh*t keeps up NO AVERAGE PERSON will ever afford anything again.
This CRAP is driving the auto prices up even further beyond our reaches. Ive seen these auction before, but never like todays larger draw one that has some going to charity. There are cars going for 200 times there true value before this auction price tags!! There goes the idea of trying to find something now, prices just will go up 10% and more just cause of this sh*t.

THIS SUCKS!

One of a kind is one of a kind and command what people are willing to give. But straight up muscle cars and no longer rodded out factory cars going $$$$$$$$. They showed a one of a kind 40 something race car that went for a mere $105,000 and that WAS RARE and they get more for lessor cars??

Yeah, the prices are ridiculous. But for a small town guy this is as close as I'll ever get to seeing some of these cars.

did any one see that 70 Cuda that went for 305,000!!! said it was the second ever produced or something. seems like a waste of money to me, id rather have an average nice muscle car that i could drive and beat the **** out of whenever than some trophy car that sits in a garage...
