havent been on the planet in awhile and had a question so i figured where should i go? the local car site provided me with dickheads and douchebags :( im going to buy this http://www.gcustoms.com/product_info/category_id/5/subcategory_id/138/tbds/44/products_id/14046/

nay, yay? what do you guys think? im pretty much just looking for cheap but i dont know anything about this junk so can some one enlighten me?

also what does this do to handling and what not, from just reading the item descriptions it makes it see like im going to be driving a porshe 911 but for SOME reason i think their just trying to sell a product

my tires look funny but its becuase of the shadow cast over them and not being able too see the tops

this is an older picture by the way since then ive gotten rid of the glue strip lol and gotten some new taillamps

Well. If you want to frop the front that much, then do Spindles. They cost more 2 do, but they will ride better.
In the rear, the blocks are fine

Damn link won't load. What's the kit consist of?

Kit is a ground force 3/3 spring&block kit.

x2 on the spindles. It doesn't mess with the stock geometry as much and you can always add 1" springs to it.
x2 on the blocks. But you could also go to the wreckers and find somw ZQ8 leafs, and adda 2" block. IMO. You will need some lowering shocks for the rear if you do that...which apparently also come with the kit in question

i ran spindes on the front, blocks on the rear, and am very happy. Truck rides firm, but not harsh, and due to the lower center of gravity, you will greatly increase handling, and, in theory, possibly gain gas mileage because you're not so far in the air.

Ground Force part number 9921.

x3 on those spindles man. Whoever owned my truck prior to me just used coils and blocks and it rides like a BRICK! I will be adding spindles up front and some 3' drop leafs out back very soon.

Drop leaves are the way to go, i will be looking at some next year

Do the spindles. They're not that hard to put on. The ride is good and you'll feel a slight improvement in handling.

Yep, that's what I did. I've had mine on for over 3 years.

i know i have them, used, obviously, and my drop kit for my F150 (drop beams and a axle flip set) are coming from them as well. I know several other members here have them.

Just avoid Chassis Tech, AIM and all the sub-companies like the plague.

thanks for the help, im going to get some camaro wheels, like every other s10, then get some 2'' spindles

2" drop spindles, 2" drop springs (coil - for the front) & 3" drop springs (leaf - for the rear). I'd avoid anything bigger than a 2" block because there's a good chance they'll crack/break & fall out.. leaving you w/ a nice accident.

Don't get CHEAP $5 aluminum blocks. I would stick with steel. My friend got aluminum blocks and it was like a pill/tablet flaking away. You should rock some Monte Carlo SS rims. Thats what I did on my blazer and it was sweet, IMO :glasses_1

you can't really see the stance that great or the wheels for that matter but its the only pic i got on my laptop. mine was lowered with 3" blocks and 2" spindles w/ stock springs. it sat pretty good and hugged corners good for a 23 year old SUV

If you get aluminum block don't buy cast. Get extruded. I had 3" blocks on my truck for 5 years never had a problem, hell I even sold them here.

If you do get the drop blocks, you need to look into a shim kit. When i dropped mine, the rear diff was out a bit and my drive shaft was pointing toward the bed. Personally, I would look at drop leafs or a drop shackle. Belltech is the way to go.

They don't make a drop shackle. Get angled blocks. Leafs are better unless you want to retain the factory payload and you must run shims with them.

Ok, so they don't make drop shackles for dimes, but they do make them for other fullsize trucks.

Angled blocks sir, are for the extended cab...;)

AVS (http://www.avsontheweb.com/home.php?cat=372) is my first choice...:)
