it actually took one day.... i took a hinge kit off of a 88 buick lasabre.... drilled some new holes... and mounted it... I had to reposition my overflow reservoir for my coolent so that the hinge did not hit it.... it took me about 3 hours to complete.... with all fabrication.... there is a how to on this modification... i will find the link and post it up on here is you guys are interested

A smart man once defined the difference beteween a p ussy and a c unt. a p ussy is the area between the legs used during sex. a c unt is everything else. she was a c unt, just missing the boobs, id rather get hit in the face with a brick than even talk to her again.

I've got new headlights, foglights, and taillight covers. I've spent most of my time uping the power of my engine but now that I've got tracton problums I'll move into the body mods. Hoping to get a grill inserts, new Cal-vue mirrors, and a hard bed cover within the next month.

New sheet metal in the front. Cowl hood. Removed all the trim. Alteeza's. New foglights. New paint. New rims and tires. I just finished it up a couple of months ago. Oh, it's a '92 S10. I'll post some pics in the gallery when I learn how.

O.K. got the pics in the photo album. Let me know what you think. All new metal in the front including the doors. Did the paint myself. First time I ever painted a vehicle. I want to do something else to make it stand out but can't decide what to do. Maybe ghost flames or something like that. Any ideas anyone?

Body mods. . . Hmm. . .
*The graphics were on it when I bought it (otherwise they wouldn't be on it, but my wife will kill me if I remove 'em).
*Swapped out the grille (instead of the 2 bezel grille I have the horizontal-slat grille -- air flows through it better. . . Better cooling, more flow over the radiator and oil cooler).
*Clear corner lenses.
*Removed the factory emblems and replaced them with polished billet Bowties.
*Polished billet third-brake light cover.

That's all that I can remember at this point. . . Most of my mods are mechanical or audio related.

That is when I rent a wirefeed welder. Then I will take pics.

This first picture is how it sits now. I have the GMC hood and a GMC 4x4 bumper cover (not on in this pic) with the Oldsmobile Grill and headlights. I have the rear end shaved with an FBI full skin with LEDs in the rear pan. I have also shaved the handles and the antenna. If a big humongous hole in the bed counts as a mod, that's also done. I also would say my license plate/ tail light assembly is a bit off from stock. I don't have any pics of it handy, just a short video I made it. http://www.blazinlow.com/s10blazed/taillightthingy03.wmv .

This is an older pic when I had the full phantom front and the Goodmark Cowl hood. I think it was an omen when I was hit to get rid of it. I got alot of hassle for the grill about covering the lights.

Different angle...

This is my skin with the LEDs. Since this pic I have added the tail light popper upper thingy in the video up above.

The lights are OEM Wrangler lights. I built the housing for them and the plate out of raw mild steel. I used 8" barndoor hinges from lowes as the pivot mechanism. For the actuation I recycled the air shocks I used to have on the rear. Since I already have the air system on-board, I just plumbed in a 75 psi regulated line to them and voila. Here is a pic I found from during the mock-up phase.

http://www.blazinlow.com/s10blazed/tailgatefromcab02.jpg

1. Gabriel Hi-Jacker rear shocks for any S-Series 82 - 03
2. Big spring i got from Lowes to keep tension on the assembly in the "down" position and also to return it (pressure against the shocks) to put it back down. (Although it's own weight does most of the work)
3. Hammer I forgot to put away
4. Fill valve
5. Dump valve
6. Tires I smoked off

Now that is some handy work right there.Do you have rigged to come up off a switch or when you break. That is just crazy cool as hell.

Since it also houses my license plate it has to be visable while the vehicle is in operation. The whole reason I built it was to remain legal on the road. So that means I have to leave it up. But I love the smooth look so much, I gotta put it down while parked.
