this is just for progression, just everytime i do something new to the truck or something happens ill post something, more or less for my benefit

1991 S10. 2.8 5 speed got it for a grand

i did damaged the fender and bumper after i bought it btw

about 7 months of having it my clutch, master, and slaved cylinders went out all with in a week of eachother

then the rear brakes were replaced

new tailights for 30 dollars off ebay

then shortly after the tires i picked up some camaro wheels with tires for 150 dollars and took off the ugly glue strip

as of august 25th,


i put a new fender on but couldnt get the bent bumper back on so im bumperless! didnt like the fact i had to remove the hood, and bumper to change the fender.

i also left the hood off for a day cause people gave me plenty of compliments :confused::confused::confused: i guess cause of my exhaust and no hood they thought it was fast

thats where i sit now, except my hood is back on.


this is how my truck plans are going to work roughly, every other wednesday i will be buying stuff, the "cheap stuff" mainly cosmetic. then ill start for saving for the other stuff. since i cant get get my old bumper back on i guess i have to buy another on weds, and might have enough to get some 3 inch blocks for the rear. then after that spindles, filled body line, tailgate skin/rollpan,phantom grill, and hood, thats the "cheap stuff" then i plan on going to a 4.3 or a 350, but i dont really care for fast too much im kinda going for low and slow

im bored and felt like posting this


i rearended a lady. lifted expedition at about 35 miles an hour, smashing my grill, both headlights and puting a healthy dent in the front of my hood right at the latch so i couldnt open it, pushed the passenger fender back closing the gap so my passenger door wouldnt open, it was all in all pretty ****in' sweet :( the duct tape was super temp.

in the meantime, i picked up a camper i like for 25 bucks and its going to be painted with the truck as well the gap is going to be narrowed. also got 3 inch blocks on the rear and putting 2inch spindles and 2 in drop springs on the front next weds.

also hopefully getting a bumper welded on some how because the ends of the fram got a little bent

looks like its coming along nicely....if your going to smooth the body lines, upgrade the bumper to a cut-down f/s bumper. just for grins I put my ft tag at a 45ish degree angle (to match the tag in the gate) and mounted 94 side marker lights for signal lights in mine. i'll see if I can find a picture...if not ill take one tommorrow and post it for you.

oh yeah i plan on doing it soon, its just rearending the lady post poned that, had to get the front end practically replaced
