I bought a new T5 5 speed for my 84 S10 Durango 2.8 4x4 5spd Xcab pickup 3 years ago, but never installed it. (12/5/08 = SOLD!!!) Paid around $700 for it from a guy on EBAY that bought out some warehouse's stock. If anyone is interested, I can take pics (since added below). Now I have a '03 ZR2 5spd, so might as well sell trans. Also have a rebuilt Eaton posi unit and couple of good condition front CV axles too.

Also selling the Hayes Super Truck 90-153 clutch kit (12/5/08 = SOLD!!!) I bought for it, new in the box. See thread here: http://www.s10planet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15288

Come to think of it, also have a NEW in box fold down roof mount lite bar, NEW in box saddle headliner for 84 x-cab. New in box OEM window felts (set of 4). NEW in box eurothane front diff mounts. 2 new in box front wheel bearings. 2 different oem rear slider widows. Extra front diff in my garage, w pass side axle replaced. Couple aluminum skid plates. Crappy aluminum bed cap. 2 so-so but working tail gates. rusty grill guard is servicable, good grill/headlight bezels, tail lights, license plate lights.

Time to part out my rusty ole '84, so let me know what you need. 2.8 crate motor from Jasper rebuilds. Less than 10K on motor, been in truck for 8 years. Was never my main ride, so miles are low. Runs strong with Edelbrock 4bbl intake/headers. Carter 400 4bbl. X11 high lift cam. The orig 5 speed in truck is mostly cooked, but works. Front diff works. Full guage cluster, AC controls and components. Nice AC dash in brown. Full set tan vinyl jump seats with hardware. Nice Pioneer 50W x 4 CD/MP3. Lighted rear-view mirror.

Crusty, but serviceable tan bucket seats with decent aftermarket covers. Black 5spd center console, decent shape, pad curling. Decent tan bench seat. Some 3 year old stuff: gas tank (20gl), fuel lines, pop-out window seals, and parking brake cables. So-so tail gate. Partially installed complete new body mount kit, mostly still in box due to rusty box nuts. Has nice tilt steering column w/delay I put in, but the firewall mount is incorrect (small gaps) for my year - from later model year.

This truck currently has the 4x4 five spokes (decent cond) on it with S#*T tires. Wheels as seen in sign pic are loose, with off brand new tires. Local pick-up in Detroit area. Hell, I'll even drive it over to your place, you can hear it run, take the whole truck for $800. Will dig round see what other parts laying about the attic and garage, and add em on. - matt

Is it specifically for an 84 S10. Will it work for other years? What engine does it bolt up to?

Not sure about that, but will get it out for some pics with serial numbers. maybe someone else can answer that question.

This is a NOS T5 for a 84 2.8 4x4. Here's the TREMEC T5 part numbers as seen in pics below:
13-52-191 is on the factory Borg Warner sticker. I found a number like that (1352-000-191) on TREMEC page:
http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English/products/T-5.asp

13-52-066-926 appears to be the 4x4 tail housing number, where it's cast onto case.

Wish I could afford that tranny - be nice to upgrade the 4 speed to a 5! Gotta see how my job shakes out...
Would you want to part with any Durango badges though? I got a broken horn on the one on the glove box...

Good shape, will post some pics. However, I may wait till spring to part it out. Will prob use the '84 for some winter salt driving punishment instead of the '03.
