Power mirror problems

Hey guys its been a while, I have been busy as hell with life and being a new dad to a beatuiful little boy! He is almost 2 months old now.
Well anyway my problem is with my power mirrors they dont seem to be working properly anymore. They will go up and down on one side but not left and right and the other side is the opposite....
When i bought the truck 2 yrs ago they worked fine
Any ideas?

Do you have any friends in the area that have an 98 up S10 (truck or Blazer) with power mirrors? If so see if you can borrow their PM switch. The PW/PM switch panel simply pops out of the door panel and then there are a few electrical plug connections to remove it completely. You will be able to see which electrical plug is for the PW switch. Plug their switch into your PM connector and try the mirrors. If they work with the different switch then you need a switch, if they are the same then the problem is the mirrors. Of course there is always a chance it could be a wiring issue, but it's not very common for wiring to go bad for the mirrors.
