recently washed my truck today and the billet bowtie i bought last fall looks like it may be tarnishing.....might be from the salt?....my billet grille has neverf done this but the bowtie looks like ****....any ideas?

Mothers Mag polish should bring it back to life.

Any aluminum polish should put a good luster back on that bowtie! You'll need to repeat periodically.

try putting some saran wrap on your bow tie to keep the moisture off of it. i know it sounds ghetto but it might just work.

Turtle wax chrome/billet polish should work too i believe

i didn't think it would tarnish....i work at an aluminum shop and get material all the time without any water damage.....guess it might have something to do with the salt water mixture from all the snow we've gotten....i'm gonna go with mothers

Use wax on it to help protect it after you polish it.
