Intercooler question - dual inlet/outlet?

Does anyone know what the deal is with this intercooler? Is it a dual inlet/outlet or does it recirculate the charge air or something?

It's local/cheap and the about right dimensions so I was thinking about picking it up in case I ever decided to intercool my setup.

As far as I know the 300zx was a twin turbo setup and looks like individual coolers stacked on each other
