View Full Version : My new truck (yup, number 3)
Hey, Well, since there wasnt a place for me at the fullsize zone, ill post up here. I just traded a Browning BT-99 trap gun for an 85 Short bed 4wd pickup. It has a little suspension lift on it and a new carb, headders, glass packs and straight pipes (he he he). It isnt in too bad of condition, and everything works on it. Since my burban is getting new paint, i wanted to buy somehting that i could hunt out of and well, look what happined. What should I do with it?
if its got a suspension lift allready go with a body lift and big tires
already got the tires. dont want a body lift, hell i cant hardly get in it now

Wow.
Nice trade.
That is kind of a cheap trap gun.
Then again, I use my Remmy 870 on the same line as Perazzi's and Those six figure customs.
it is a 94 burban that is bone stock other than shorty headders and a 3 inch flowmaster exhaust, a ranch hand bull guard and rear bumper, adn a warn 9000lb electric winch. the pics are in my galery

heres what I am gonna do. it is at home so in all honesty i dont know if i got my moneys worth or not i havent seen it in 2 months (eek!) it was a buddies truck, and he needed a trap gun, and i dont ever shoot that one anymore (have 2 bt99's. well 1 now) and i needed a 4wd vehicle i could beat up. if any one doesnt know, my brother drove the back of my burban into a tree, so it is getting reparied and compelty repainted (lots of scraches) the stock color. I didnt want to mess up new paint, so i traded the gun for this truck. my burb has a removable winch, basically it has a quick disconect on the power, and it slides into a reciever hitch on the bullguard. The winch came with cables long enough to run another disconnect to the back, but that is only on a pickup, my burb is too long, so it doesnt work. im gonna hook that one up, and buy a reicever for the front to weld and bolt onto the frame. this is if I keep it though. I am still debating on selling it, i know that I can pull atleast 3000 out of it with some rust repair and a quickie paint job. Ill try and find a picutre of a truck similar to it and post it up
anyone in the manhattan area want a truck, 2500 as is with out a winch!!!
this is what i know about shot guns.
my grandfather was left handed. I inherited his shot gun. it's an over and under 10/12 gauge he had made many years ago. I'm right handed.
yea it's a *****hh to shot.
i do have a mossburg bolt action 12gauge I need to get to safty fixed on, but outher than that I not a shotgun guy.
guns I currently own.
357 nickle python
lama 44(simi auto)
left and right handed browning pro 9s
mini 14 (moded)
mini 30
russian an 94(rare)
only the python is in working condition the rest have all had the firing mechinisms removed. I have no desire to ever use a gun,but they make one hell of an investment.

sort of like that but an off white color with rust, stock ralle wheels with tires that big and the height is the same. no visor, or fender flares
I trying to find one of thouse in good shape, but people around here don't git rid of 4x4s with manuale hubs unless they'er rusted out.
Ok, I need a name for it. Im really feeling "Thunder" What do you guys think.
well as quickly as it came it is gone now. i got offered too much money by some highschool kid with more dollars than sense who wanted a mudder (i already know im gonna have to pull him out with my burban and winch) ha ha dumb punk, i cant wait till the seat falls through the rusted out floor board. I am gonna love pullin him out, he has driven my trucks in the mud before and cant drive for shi*! (stuck my jeep when i had it in 3" of mud with 4wd all terrain tires and a 5 speed) WOO HOO, JUST PAYED FOR ANOTHER SEMESTER IN COLLEGE!! (at least tuition)
