If you look by the dip stick there is a gray wire with a black connector on the end of it. What is it for? The large red wire I assume was for an amp or something once upon a time, it and a blue one run all the way to the back of the truck where they were laying in the cargo area. Must have been a boom chicka Blazer once upon a time. I'll remove that one.misc 001.jpg (http://www.s10planet.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=5927&stc=1&d=1221334531)

My truck had 4 or 5 wires that didn't connect to anything.

Just wanted to make sure it wasn't "the missing link" Yea Scott, this truck is VERY nicely equipped. It didn't come with dancing girls though.

Maybe the wiring harness is shared with another vehicle.

It may be for the 2.5 or TBI. Fuel pump test plug, or is that orange?

The fuel pump test plug is like that but it is on the drivers side and is red.

Thats what I'm kinda saying. It might be for something that another engine or something has.

Sorry, my shop manual is a POS. It doesn't even have the proper dash board removal procedure for my year truck, WTF? So um yea, I need a new one. John sold me the rim on my tire carrier as well as a spider and some sensors. Eric as soon as ol' brown truck gets those babies here I'll share the Itrader wonderment with you!

Man that is a really good point, you should write a book on it and sell it for 19.95, lol.

I would have to pay them 19.95 to take it. If they took it they would use it to start a fire... Then they would be pissed because it won't burn.
