I need someone to donate your time and/or assistance.

You need to have a '96+ Camaro or Firebird or a '99+ GM Truck or SUV.
Needs to have keyless entry and also a transmitter.

I was digging through my personallly homemade 'installers bible' which has info that I have gathered and documentation of wire colors for OEM vehicles I collected over the years.
I found a 'how-to' on reprogramming the factory security settings on those vehicles.
This is NOT a transmitter programming. Only how the security arms itself or disable it.

If yours applies and you want to test it out, please let me know and Ill go over the instructions.

My 2000 BlaZeR2 has the keyless entry.... might have some time today to do something.

Step #1 - Turn Ignition ON and then OFF

Step #2 - Remove the RADIO fuse. (not the acc/rdo fuse)

Step #3 - Turn the key on to the ACCESSORY position. ( You should hear 2 chirps/dings from the door chime. If you only hear 1 chirp/ding this wont work on your vehicle and you dont have OEM Security )

Step #4 - Press the UNLOCK on the door switch. There will be 1 chirp/ding and pressing it 1-4 times will result in 1-4 chirps/dings.
Those 1-4 chirps/dings have corresponding assigned statuses. Below are those.

1 = Security OFF
2 = Remote Arm Only
3 = Factory Setting (unclear of what that may be)
4 = Passive Arming (passive arming is automatic arming and usually is set by the locking of the door with the key, switch or just after last door closes)

Step #5 - Once you are set on a #1-4, turn ignition OFF.

Step #6 - Put RADIO fuse back in place.

Lemme know if it works and how it does. IDK is it works on s-series and IDK what the cutoff year was. Looking in my owners manual, the OEM setting instructions differ for my 2003.
