As much as Il'' get flamed for this, I must be honest.
I wont be watching the Daytona 500.
Why?

Because watching 43 similar cars race in a circle for 3 hours isn't very entertaining for me. I mean, where's the challange?

There's fuel consumption, tire wear, and other cars. that's it. Hell, there are no friggin right hand turns!

Perhaps this is why I prefer the American Gran Turismo racing. (60 cars, in 4 classes, racing in 5 races (4 classes and overall race) on a road course) And there are a bunch of different cars, from prototypes, to S7's, Vipers, 'vette's and 911's.

Although I do live 5 miles from the track where Matt Kenseth got his start. (IIRC, his dad still owns the track)

Agreed! Thats why I cant wait 25 more days for F1 to start back up! All of the cars are getting HUGE makovers this year with the new engine specs. I cant wait to see how the new Renault does, it looks intriguing to me.
