well, as you see in my sig, i found my v8 project but i am wanting to get the 2.8 running while i work on the suspension, brakes, rims, paint, etc. It ran 3 months ago...i saw it with my three....i mean two eyes. well, the gentleman took off the iac because his friend needed one so he decided to give his away. that's fine and dandy because it still ran, just didn't idle. well, between then and like a month ago when i bought it, something got in the hood and chewed a bundle of wires. this bundle ran along the driverside of the intake manifold and consisted of 2 (1 solid green and 1 green w/ thin white stripe) wires going to the oil pressure sensor, 2 (1 yellow and 1 black) to the temp sensor, 2 (1 green w/ thick white stripe and 1 black) to the ac and I sound dumb but 3 (1 blue, 1 white and 1 black) going to the thing right beside the iac towards the firewall. i fixed all the wires, replaced the iac but IT WILL NOT START. it's getting fuel for sure. all wires are fixed, it sensing some oil pressure while turning over but it won't start at all.

it'll turn over all day long but it never spits or sputters, or jumps or acts like there is any sort of combustion. what should i assume the problem is?

thanks for any and all help :o

Have you checked for spark? Power to the coil?
