keyless entry

i have a 2000 s10 p\u and i was wondering if i need one of those bus interface modules to make my keyless entry work. i bought an aftermarket keyless entry remote start system.

do you have mnuale or electric locks

electric, it had keyless entry from the factory

I believe you can just install the remote start. If I remember right you need to go to the dealership to get the chip that comes in your keys (or forever sacrifice a key). What brand did you buy?

i bought the bypass module for the remote starter but the keyless entry wont work. the factory keyless entry wasnt working either but i figured it was because of the alarm somone else had installed
