word filter

Ok we need to seriously rethink the words that are part of the word filter.I for one think that damnn,sh*t,and a*s should not be filtered.The others I can live with but those 3 are not bad at all.And the 10 letter rule really needs to go too.All of those in favor to ammend the word filter to exclude those 3 words and do away with the 10 letter rule post up.

He isn't the only one playing with the filter! I left **** in the censored words, but deleted damn and hell -- so, we can return to our normal foul-mouthed selves!

I'm going to be in a lot of trouble over this one. . . ****, damn, or hell -- and mostly **** -- are the main components of my vocabulary when I'm not teaching (yeah, I know -- it's poor form for an ENGLISH TEACHER -- but I'm only human!). Of course, ass isn't so much a swear word. . . An ass is a DONKEY (as well as a person's hind end). So, there is a legitimate reason for it NOT to be filtered.

Yeah I agree the B word and the C word can be very offesive to women.And we want female members so those words need to stay edited.I think the ones that are allowed now are plenty.
