First off I'd like to say.. I hate camaros. haha.. but really, I hope GM sticks to their guns this time & don't puss out at the last moment & give us a vehicle that's been pumped up & pushed down our throats that it'll be a complete redesign & then it's the same old turd of a car that's just been modded a little to BS stupid consumers, like that 'new GTO'... WTF was that sh!t?

I think it's just the realization that i will never own one, but i can sure as heck rob the living crap out of them from the junkyards...
As a side note, i saw a Challenger the other day with it's passenger fender and door caved in.... i thought "wow. Thats the new Challenger?"

I like the looks of the new challenger,unlike the charger it still has body lines like the early 70's challengers,cudas and roadrunners,just smaller.

Old skool GTO owners were pissed about the newer version. They felt it was nothing like the original. Nova owners also felt that sting as well.

I'm still holding out for the V8 Rado and/or the G8ST, but then I daydream about all kinds of mythical creatures.

The nova owners had a reason to cry back in the early 80s with piece GM called a nova. But, i still have no idea why People hated new GTO so much. I loved it and would love to own one. Whats their reason, because it was not retro? It sure had all the right performance cues of the original GTO and attitude. Maybe it did not look like a old GTO or what people may have in visioned as a new GTO but in my opinion that's no reason to put it in the same catagory as that sudo Nova. Thats a pretty harsh.

And I could not agree with you more on the V8 Rado and the G8ST. I plan on buying a new car next summer and those two are on the top of my list for possibilities.

As for the new Camaro I think it is gorgeous. I just hope it had a option sheet with choices and and stick price that can be insight of a average mans budget. That is what always made the Camaro a great seller and awesome car. People had options and they could afford it performance on a moderate budget. Lets hope GM does not mess htis up.

the new GTO's look like cavalier's....I like the camero....but probably never be able to own one. the price of them will be too much for what they are or all the collectors will buy them and leave none for the average guys....

My buddy is set on picking a new Camaro up. He is crazy, he paid cash for his new Duramax, same with his Raptor 700. Guess you can do those things if you dont have kids. LOL

That would be sweet. Seen one in a chevelle so why not. I think this is one of the most highly anticipated cars I have seen yet. Everyone I talk to is excited about them. Even though they know they wont be able to afford one!

my buddy called the dealership the other day and the sed they have one with 4xx rwhp and he told them it wasnt enough and when they get one with a 572 he would come and pay cash for it

Friday after work I'll check a couple GM dealerships here and see if any of them are sitting around. He said when he drove by there was a big crowd and radio station trucks around so it may of been a touring show or something. As of now I only know of the 300hp v6 a 390hp and 430hp version so I've heard. Dad said he read of a 500hp version who knows.

The SS is listing for 31,000 and the V6 for like 22,000 i think. Not bad at all if you ask me.

i hope they eventually make the z-28 they have been discussing. believe it was similiar to the zr1 ls3 with a blower just a smaller blower and estimated around 550hp. i mean the cts-v puts out that much so why not. lol i think the z-28 package is gonna be based on initial sales if they do it or not.
