this is the sound my truck makes when i try to turn it over 75% of them time WHIIIIIRRRRRRR and sometimes when it does it acts like its not getting gas i think it just chugs and tries to stay alive so i give it some gas and it helps a little then it comes to life

Are you trying to say that sometimes the starter spins freely when you try to start it? And when it does start in runs like crap at first?

All i know about his truck is its a first gen, it's got Camaro wheels, and way too much fender gap....

91 2.8 5 speed i dont know the tranny model, and its just for a few seconds it run idles like poop just as crappy as could be

hmmm, possible fuel related issue?? regulator perhaps? My head isnt quite into it yet.. other peeps?

I'm still wondering about the WHIIIIRRRR....
If I was to just throw something out there I would say that your starter is going bad. Unless the flywheel is missing teeth. Probably just the starter not in gauging though. Sounds like there's 2 different issues.

well not really being there to hear what hes talking about...im curious if his fan clutch is just getting stuck and cause a drag until it releases?? i know of lots of s-10s that do that
