I haven't spent anything, except for the cards for my son to take to school with him. Single and free..........and loving it. Booty calls is all I have, and I don't spend **** on them. Except for the jimmys. I spent the money that I would have spent on my wife (ex-wife), on my truck.

Oh thats a great idea, too bad i already spent too much on the old lady. swimming $20, Hotel room $120 and a dozen roses $60, plus the liquor i got to buy yet. Oh the $ figures are in canadian. I could have bought new seat covers that fit properly for $200, (custom tailored).

Dated mine on and off for 10 years prior to the wedding and married now for allmost 19 years. She is 5 years younger than me and we've kinda grown to the point wherewe dont exchange things anymore since we just get what we want, when we want it. Do special things just for whatever when it allows itself and the kids hockey program also runs concurant with all these holidays etc and as it is eats away at any funding, personal time and so fourth! 6 days a week is dedicated to hockey in one form or the other. Practices, games each day of the weekend, one on one skills teaching which we send them too etc, plus my son volunteers to help out with training of younger kids and my daughters team. I got over $5k into this season alone just to play and God knows what in gas, time and hotels fees!!!

Its boiled down to the kids are #1. So you kids out there, for Valentines day, KISS YOUR MOMS AND DADS ASS!!!

Maybe that's why you're relegated to hallway sex!

Try a dozen roses and you might get that Hummer you've been wanting!

Yeah, yeah. . . I've got THREE. But you can't ever let your wife forget why you married her.

Tell me about it, though. . . If I didn't have kids, I'd be driving a 2005 New GTO by now, with a 1970 Chevelle (502 RamJet/6-speed) in the garage for a project car! But, I love my kids and my wife, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. . . Although sometimes it IS tempting!

i still dont really understand the point of flowers. i mean id rather give her somethin that shes gonna be able to use. i mean this year i got my girl a card, rented some movies, and got her one of them vera bradley purses. i mean flowers die after a week?!?

BlazinLow_inORE
02-14-05, 08:13 PM
i dont need to contribute to my girls 250 purses. She has enough. Plus.. she likes flowers and candy.... so im happy if shes happy

Cleaned the house, did the laundry, I cooked (this is the only time of the year, lol), then after we ate we went and sipped some wine, gave her a massage, then I got laid. Then I got a back rub It was well worth it, I should do this everyday!
This year I did more for her and spent less! Last year I spent $100 on whit and red longstem roses! That is what I get for waiting till the last second!

02-15-05, 03:31 PM
I don't really get the point of flowers either. You spend a bunch of money on them and they are dead in a week... why are women so impressed by them?!?

importmaster1300
02-15-05, 05:20 PM
From what I gather women want what they think is nice, guys want what they need! LMAO!

Being in the dating circles for years, and then being married for almost 10, I'm still not sure I understand the point of flowers. They die and leave pedals and leaves all over. They smell nice and all and look pretty, but don't last very long.

BUT. . . Valentine's Day is NOT a practical "holiday." If it were up to me, I'd get my wife something she could have for a long time. . . But, flowers are what she wants, and flowers are what she gets.
