Router problem

The problem I'm having is accessing the control panel for it. It still has the default user name/ password but when I try to type it in the password 3 dots show up when I press 1 key. Why is that? Do I have to smash it?..lol.

I got it figured out. Took 4 or 5 times of resetting it to get in.
