I put together a new ar15 from various parts. It's pretty cool to build your own rifle.

It fits into my tactical collection.

only thing i like about the ar's......you can have a different "upper" setup to drop right in. Other than that blah I say thats imo. Nice guns a b*tch to clean though

The scopes an Osprey International 10-50 X50
As for the brand. It's from various companies. Mostly DPMS, Bushmaster barrel and some others thrown in. That's the thing about the AR. almost all the different parts are interchangeable. I put together the different parts and assembled it myself. Once you get into the AR it's really pretty simple. As for cleaning it, it ain't so bad and you can shoot the thing forever without any trouble. It's nothing for me to go to the range and put 500 rounds thru it without one malfunction.

Thanks for being over there serving the USA. One of my sons friends was in from Afghanistan a couple of weeks ago. We went to the range and he really liked my AR. He wanted to take it back with him. But I wouldn't let him have it. With the economy in the crapper I may need it here.

Just about anyone could buy a rifle.
although there's a few states who wouldn't approve of these particular setups

It's semiauto so it's just like buying any other gun except maybe California or some of those states. The AR is modular. The only part thar requires an FFL is a complete lower receiver. Everything else can be bought online. Sportsmanguide is good also cheaper than dirt or midwayusa. Go to AR15.com. It's a wealth of info and they have advertisers at the top of their page including all the major manufacturers. I bought all the parts for this gun from about 6 different places. Shop for the best deals.
