View Full Version : 2se in an e2se 2.8 v6 varajet swap?
I have a 1985 blazer and will not have to pass smog next year. I was wondering if I can replace the current dying carb with a 2se model since the E2se's are proving difficult to find, and expensive when I do find one. WHat all would the swap entail?
Obliged!

The E2se has the mixture solenoids right? I ran my 81 Elcamino for years with a non electronic Quadrajet with no problems. You might have to put a distributor that has vaccume advance ?!?!

Hard to tell without seeing the numbers off of your carb. Ever tried rebuilding a carb? It's not that hard, this coming from someone who only gets half his carbs right the first time.
Well, its bent, twisted, some threads are gone. Etc. Trust me, it's a write off.
So, will ANY e2se work, or does it have to be a specific type or #'s etc? Lemme know?
I found one out of a 1982 Camaro rebuilt for cheap.
