There's a thread around here about it.. came to the conclusion it wouldn't work.

Well, it can work. It has been done but only on rare occasions and the amount of work to complete the task is considerable.

Depends on the year and generation if it is "worth it" the early M62's are (imho) way too small the M90's are decent but to get much serious power out of them is pushing them too hard till they run real hot. That brings you to the fact that there is no intercooler. The Radix which is a better M90 (more twist to the rotors) is a better fit but still no inter cooler. The main problem is the fact that the blower case is one piece sothe inlet will hit the firewall. To me the best bet is an intercooled M112 Radix or even better a TVS. Something similar to this....

you hit the nail on the head except.... with an M90 i wouldn't go to big on boost maybe 8-10 lbs unless you add serious fuel cause i had a GTP that pushed around 13 psi with 36 lb injectors NGK's gapped down with 93 octane and yea it was a blast but heat was a serious problem. At 65 mph the temp guage would read 160 degress you floor it and at 135 mph it was at boiling point 220 plus easy (which between those speeds didn't take to long at all LOL) but it's not worth even dreaming it up and you would be better to buy a vortech paxton procharger etc and having a mounting bracket made at any metal trade shop . IMO leave the eatons for those cobras that keep popping pistons due to heat!!:D
