i have a t5 out of a 92 s10. anyone know if the camaro t5 short shifter works in s10's? my shifter is crappy anda little loose, and i just want a shorter throw. is there a bushing or something on the base of the shifter ball? i tried the chevy dealer and they said no, but mine has movement there. thanks

i looked online. the camaro shifter doesn't work. it is angled to the right. hurst s10 shifters on ebay. i can't wait to get the funds and buy mine.

i finally got my hurst off ebay. the stick it came with did not fit. but i got another. i also found the bushing the dealer said did not exist. it does and makes a difference.

shorty shifters are nice. I was in welding but didn't feel like making one so my buddy was in machine tool when we were in college. He made a hurst style t-handle shifter for his stang and I had him machine me the stick and thread it for my camaro. Did a nice job to bad I never took pics of it :(

i finally got it, and got it in. there is a bushing that mine was missing, the dealer said there wasn't. replacing it makes it and putting the hurst shifter in is great.
