Well now that I know it's not yours... I dont think it's worth more than 3k. No matter how low the miles are. No tilt, no pwr windows/locks, no cd player rusted ass under carrage. What's so specail about a SS anyways? 5 more hp? Don't get me wrong, it is a nice little truck as long as the underside aint to bad.

yup once it went past 3000 I lost interest... It is kinda rare they didn't make many but then it was a lame SS option no performance upgrades just a badge now if GM had done on the S10 what they have done for the Cobalt SS or the HHR SS now that would have been more like it

I can't believe how cheap trucks are in the US. Trucks like mine in bone stock condition with 70K miles on them are selling for ~$10k up here. Even with the exchange that's still way more expensive

Well, SS was suspension, 5 more on tq and 10 more on hp. Just a sporty option mostly and rare.
Which is why GM killed it in favor of the Xtreme. You could get the X in extended cab which you couldnt the SS, you could get a 4 banger which you couldnt the SS and there was a wider saled demographic for that.
Fortunately I personally prefer a reg cab, 4.3, sport susp and no GFX. So it was a match for me when it was new. Hene the way my truck is =)
IMO it shouldve at minimum had console std and not oprional with a floor shifter (even auto).

That one I have a hard time beleiving the lilage. Looks like a repaint or a real good buff job. Underside is dirty, steering wheel is in bad shape, looke like the red on the grille bowtie is faded and other cues that its had a harder life than first appears.

My steering wheel is starting to look that as well - the rim and the center section fade at different rates or something

I bought my 98 Jimmy for a grand and the interior is in a lot better shape then that truck. Granted I pretty much robbed the guy cause he thought the tranny was bad. My steering wheel is brand new compared to that one. And my 98 is better equipped. I'm thinking 3k would be generous because it's kinda "rare".
I'm like Mike, I do love reg cabs. But I dont care much for step-sides. Fleet-side FTW!

Your right, I wished GM would of at least droped a V8 or supercharged the thing.
But peoples wants and desires, are all different, some like the Xtreme,some like the Ext.cab, some want the SS.
LOL some of these SS owners are pretty touchy,over on another forum, lol lol Boy all I got a say, if you ever sell one make sure all the RPO codes match,if you say it's an SS.and the codes don't match,God help you,lol lol

They also have the limited slip rear end and the hop shock, which I think is worthless, I put those DIY traction bars on mine, made some what of a difference.Don't get the axle hop as I did
