they are going to be engine oil temp and trans temp and an a/f gauge in the a pillar. what is the best way to route the wiring? also, should i get those thingys from autometer (my gauges) where you disconnect the cooling lines on either side of the radiator and and install a sending unit port, or is there an easier way? woudlit be ok if i hood up to the illumination wire on my cd player?
thanx!!!

i would think that the illum could be hooked up to the cd player... or you can run it straight to the fuse box. As for the wiring... i am planning on running mine down the kickpanel into the firewall out into the engine bay... dont know if there is an easier way or not.... as for the cooling lines.... is it to hook up your temp?... if so.. you can hook it up on the front of the block.

Yes, you can run the illumination off the CD player -- it's a low enough voltage signal.
Where did you find a THREE gauge pillar? I've been looking for a while and all I could find was the two gauge pillar. Trans temp -- I couldn't tell you, I deal with standards, sorry! Oil temp would be wired or tapped into somewhere that your oil would actually contact. If you get the sending unit as well as the gauge, it should say in the instructions where to tap in. As to how to route wires, I usually just drill a hole in the passenger side floorboard, put a grommet in the hole, and run the wires through it -- make certain you silicone the hole and the grommet, though -- don't want it to rust or to leak!
