I beat ya the OLD MAN will never go there as well!! Old Man got fed up with it when Neil turned the reins over and Bill , one of the mods there hasnt beent here in months, but he comes here also. OLD MAN tried in vain to work a deal so we would combine the sites a year ago, this would help with resources etc on all parts , but Neil would have nothing to do with it!!

Do I dare ask why? Is it the redirect? Or other issues? There are a couple people over there that annoy the hell out of me, but (for the most part) everyone else seems really cool. It can't be all that bad -- that's where Hammer came from, and he's a really good guy.

I offered to join forces with them, when we were s10planet and they wanted to keep there name forum and just get my members. I decided not to go that route. It would have been a good merger in my position.

Yeah it would be fun. But we each have our own areas in which we excel really, thats why alot of post I leave alone etc , cause someone esle can give a better idealism to it and I may just to hold there interest, tell them parts of what I know!

I'm thinking it probably took the others by surprise as well ... if it a permanent redirect and not just a temp one for site updates/changes ... I wouldn't think Mike would want to give anyone notice, lest they organize another site ( not his) to meet on.

Ya, That was the first S-series site that I would always frequent when i had my '96 S10. Had quite abit of good info as well. Now I only go there to browse the Your Truck section, which is IMO one of the best layouts for member rides of all the S-sites I've been to.

whoa look at all the drama!!!! well we are back..but hammer is right...when neill was around and the site went to shiat...we had a temporary page indicating so. my admin wouldn't work..all i got were 404's, then the main page would redirect to s10v8...i was like wtf...ooooooook...i guess we are having problems, i kept checking s10v8 to see if anything was on the homepage like sister site status or some BS...but I got nothing...oh well...something like this happens again i'll be in touch. though if the site is down there is a chance my jrod@mys10.com email will be down...i got 2 virgin emails...email me and i'll give it to ya. thanks for the concern...
