Wow, this job is done from under the hood?
I remember all the older vehicles seemed to be from
under the passenger side of the dash.
Good info, thanks!

nope this job is done from inside the truck other than 2 nuts on the firewall you have to remove the six screws on top of the dash and the 2 10mm bolts from underneath the dash then rock the dash back towards the seats you may have to drop the steering column also I can't remember then you will see the heater box there is 2 nuts on the firewall one under the heater hoses and one inside the black plastic piece that says cut here for service and one more bolt under the carpet by the heater vent on the passenger side then you can use the all data info above to take apart the heater box and put the new core in took me about 4 hours and it was the first one I had ever done
Wow, if that's the case those pics seem to be mis-leading. http://bestsmileys.com/clueless/4.gif
Judging by the inlet and outlet tubes it sure looks like
the pics are showing removal from under the hood.
Screw it...I'll get the cuttin torch after it
