Speaker covers don't come off -- the entire door panel does.

yup, entire door comes off. Be careful that you dont break any of the clips on the back, or crack the door

to remove the door:

manual windows:
remove the c clip behind the window crank, then pull the crank off (careful removing the clip, it has a tendency to FLY). Remove the screws from the door handle are (should be 3 including 2 in the armrest). beginning at the bottom of the door pull gently until the clips begin to "pop" (dont use too much pressure or you will break the clips) once all the clips are released, and the door panel is hanging just lift up...there is a lip that sits in the window sil area.

i think automatic windows are the same, minus the c clip for the crank. let us know if you have any other problems.

I just hooked mine up and they play lower than the stocks... i'll try and check the wireing it's just so much trouble getting the panel off... i already broken the c-clip and the window crank haha... i know it's anything to do with the speakers and head unit becasue i had both in my car befor hand and they worked perfectly... I hope it's the wires. What am i suppose to use to get the c-clip off without destroying the window crank???

edit:I posted this in another thread as well
