does it crank over freely by hand?
uh oh... isn't this the truck that you were asking if you should trade or not.... man i hope that thing turns free buddy!! i really do. check your dip stick too. be sure to check back and we'll walk ya threw some tests, just for starters. see if you can get a few pressure gauge on it if it turns over okay.
you should have about 60-65psi with key on

ya its the same truck it turns freely with the starter but I need to get shims on it the sound I keep hearing is the starter binding on the fly wheel and I checked all fluid before I did the trade no water in the oil but it is a little dirty no signs of intake manifold gaskets leaking trans fluid is red and does not smell burnt coolant is good and is green so no dex cool I'm thinking its the gas as I haven't put any in yet so that gas has been in there for God knows how long thinking I'm just going to syphon the tank and start over cuz when I turn the key I can hear the pump prime but I haven't tested psi yet waiting till I can pull it in the garage its 7 degrees here right now with snow and -30 wind chill
