im trying to decide what direction to go with my truck.
i could finish out the cop truck look (ive already got the white doors on it, but what else??, or my buddy offered to paint it for me for just materials. he wants to show up the guy that did my show car.
so, i was wondering if you could do two chops for me:
1. cop truck: do whatever, just dont make it able to get me arrested
2. actual paint. i was thinking about the green that honda is using on the elements (like in this link: http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j91/HustlerM/DSCN0686.jpg )with a semi-gloss black top half, broken at the body line.
3. just paint it straight black again
4. ???
so heres some pictures to work with. theyre from my photobucket. if you need origonals, ill see what i can do.

so if you could throw some my way to see what it would look like, or just provide an opinion, it would be appreciated.
thanks

Black is the safe and easy way to go. Element greenlooks great if the truck is going to be a custom. Flat black with gloss black skulls would also be killer looking.

more of an autocross toy/street truck. nothing too radical except underneath the paint and body.
think hybrid v-6. tubuar a-arms, eventual 3 link with a watts in the back, and someday coilovers on all 4 corners.

is there any way to get a little closer to the element/pea green look? the green that y'all used is a little....flourescent. kinda what i used on the race car i just finished building.
still leaning towards black, though. just cause black looks evil.
any other ideas?
thanks again for all the help, guys.

Its just IMO though I dont like the color green on trucks or cars unless it has a crap ton of metallic in the paint. Only one I like is the 2nd gen s10's in the dark green but I hardly ever see any.

lol just cant please you sometimes..... J/K :D
In my opinion tho, I dont like the green wouldn't look right, I think all black, If you must do green make it so dark it only looks green in direct sunlight.

I dunno man I like this green alot...Dont ask me why the background is black. My software saved it with multiple layers under a .pn file and I opened it in another program to move it around a little and it was black so blah.
not bad for a newb chopper eh?

the green on that bug looks sick. i like it. any idea of the paint code? There is so much flake in it and different lighting I can't be sure. Minus the flake this viper looks close. The VW has gold flake and maybe a hint of silver. I thought Mitsubishi had a color that was closer but can't find it. This is 2008 Snake skin green.

i can egt a screaming deal on some satin black and OD green paint. would anyone be willing to do the two tone for me again with thise colors? it will eventually go bak to all gloss black, but for now im going cheap and not flaking of. lets put it this way: im not even fixing the dents for right now. but the surface rust and pile of black flecks on my garage floor has to go. my wife suggested also doing a reflective white or silver pinstrip in the body line as well. we'd also be shaving the S15 emblems and the rub strips off the sides of the truck.
thanks for all the previous help, an the chop once again.
