just wonderin what would make a set of audiobahn components i put in my jeep play quieter than the stock speakers. i also swapped out my head unit for a blaupunkt miami beach cd51 which should improve sound quality. i never had this problem with my blaupunkt compoents in my s10 and i had the same head unit for a while. i was thinkin that maybe they were operating at a lower impedence than the head unit so it was gettin ample power. any suggestions?

u make sure all your wires are hooked up nice and solid?... i know ive hooked some equipment up before and it sounded faint...so i checked the wires and it was fine....

i cant think of a reason it would do that besides what ^^^^^^^^^ said. remember all speakers do sound differently, but shouldnt go from loud to faint at the same setting (unless the headunits are WAY differently setup) I would check your wiring 1st.

I have a set of Rockford 4x6's and the stock speakers are MUCH louder. They have to do with the OHMs.

I just hooked mine up as well... i'll try and check the wireing it's just so much trouble getting the panel off... i already broken the c-clip and the window crank haha... i know it's anything to do with the speakers and head unit becasue i had both in my car befor hand and they worked perfectly... I hope it's the wires. What am i suppose to use to get the c-clip off without destroying the window crank???
