i was just talking to my friend and first he tells me that he fixed his exhaust and now when he drives he goes faster and stays at a lower rpm (its a standard and in the same gear) which makes no sence at all plus it also has less power now that he fixed it. then he tells me that he wants to replace his whole exhaust system with flex pipe from auto zone. he's only gonna need 6 pieces 2' long and he's gonna need 7 hangers (exhaust hangers not cloths hangers) to hold it up there. than he's gonna paint it so it will last longer. now this isnt an old beater (actuallt it is but he dont think so) its a car he's trying to make in to a show car. he's one of those people no matter how many time you tell him something wont work he just dont listen.

An entire flex-pipe exhaust?!?! You mean you didn't BEAT him for even suggesting it? I would have!

I can belive if he had a bad exhaust leak and he fixed it he would have more bottom end(this is where scavaging, an entirely off the subject thead comes in), but more speed at lower rpms......................slap him for all of us.

hey flexpipe is a great. It a hell of allot easy to run that in the walls than strait conduit.
