I just got a call from my wife. Some one slammed into the rear of my red 4dr Blazer. Yay.....:rolleyes:

I haven't seen it yet but at first the way she was all upset
(crying and stuff) I figured it was bad. When I got her to calm down she said there was just a dent on the bumper. I guess I'll see how bad it is later. She was so upset because she thought I'd be mad. I told her it's a pretty durable truck it'll be fine. Of course ya'll know I gonna strangle her ass when she gets home.... :D J/K 2 seconds into the conversation I was thinking "roll pan!" while she crying her eyes out.

I just talked to her again before I even finished typing this post. It was a new Trailblazer that hit her and a Lexus hit the rear of the Trailblazer. The Lexus my wife said was really bang up LOL. It's also more than the bumper thats damaged. She tells me the the gate was hit and the "plastic bumper filler" (??? whatever you call it) it cracked. Anyways, both drivers involved were rich ladies and I'm sure my Blazer with be fixed. Hell, I had a couple scratches back there I needed fix anyways. ;)

Awesome on the new parts for a steal deal, but it still hurts your feelings when someone smacks up your ride. And jealousy sets in b/c you can have tinted tails and headlights they raise hell about it here.

Then bought new ones for the Jimmy. I like them. I think it makes the truck look mean. :D

Thats funny, you know the first thing I said when she called me crying about the accident was "is it still drivable?" LOL! The way she was upset I just knew it was totaled. I just went down stairs and looked at it, isn't bad at all.

The only thing thats wrong with it is the bumper and the plastic bumper corner. If I can get their insurance to just cut me a check I might be able to use my Jimmy bumper, have it painted to match and get a roll pan for the Jimmy. That would be awesome if that was possible.

Imagine the accident sence. 3 women, all on their cell phones and 2 of them were blonde. :D

Or you could swap the Jimmy corners and put the Xtreme corners on the Jimmy but you need to lose the bumper on that bish. Keep the bumper on the 4dr so you can tow the skis when you get them. Or even better a boat.

So the Ins guy came out and cut me a check for $588 for the damage. Which should be an awesome deal since it should be a great opertunity for me to get a rollpan for my jimmy. Then have my Jimmy bumper painted to match the Blazer and slap it on there. But.... as some might know from another thread I started, the trans on ithe Blazer went out :( So it looks like that money will be going to fixing the trans. Oh well, sh!t happens.
