I been looking everywere trying to see how much lower a Chevy S10 Xtreme sits with a ZQ8 suspention vs. a base model S10 with the Z85 suspention. If any body out their knows, please tell me, thanks.

Tyson (rentedmule) should know. He has ZQ8 stuff on his Z85 Sonoma.

I'll see if I can dig up the measurements I took before I dropped mine. The front wasn't much different, the ZQ8 coils only dropped it an inch and the lower profile tires took it down another inch or so. The ZQ8 coils are much softer though. The rear was way higher - I need 3" blocks to make the rear level with the ZQ8 stuff on the front. The Z85 package seems to have changed over the years too, the older ones had 4 leafs and mine has 5.

Thanks rentedmule. I'm trying to make my 2003 S10 and turn it into a Xtreme look alike (NOT A CLONE).

If I had my time back I'd use 2" drop coils on the front instead of ZQ8 coils. I'm not convinced that ZQ8 coils actually drop 1.5" like everyone says they do. I think ZQ8's are a total of 1.5" lower than a regular S10 including the drop they get from lower profile tires.

Hey, thank's for the input, I just got my bodykit today and just finish the test fit. I know exacly how much to lower it.(So far I never seen a S10 with this type of body kit yet, this is going to look sweet.)

You also got a frame brace, bump stops, shocks, wheels, tires, steering box, and stiffer sway bars.
