I've only used there pads on my bike, they were pretty good pads. Just because they put them on ricers doesn't mean anything. in genral the ricers have the some of the best on them because it's all about the name brand. it's the accesorys that kill them. It's not their fault they don't understand how to setup their cars, that 20 pounds of stickers and a 200lb wing on the deck will slow them down, or.. well ... don't even know how to drive. it's like the saying goes if we would put their heads together it would get kinda bloody.(wait is that right)

if your looking for performance. I prefer baer or ssbc just because I've never had any bad exsperince with their systems , but they'er kinda exspensive on an everyday driver.

I've got a bud who does allot of custom brake systems. I'll check with him to see what he says.

Wilwood is very popular with the street rod guys as well so I would have zero doubts towards their performance or reliability. A friend of mine bought some Baer's for his Malibu and I had a chance to take a look at them. They are some extremly heavy duty parts. They seemed pretty heavy but there is no way your going to warp a rotor. I have SSBC's and love them. Great quality, great performance. I don't think you can go wrong with any of these companies, its just a matter of who offers the application closest to what you want.

It's all about getting a macthing kit that works in your class of performance. I have SSBC Quickchange twopiston calpiars, sloted rotors, HD pads, and Russal brake lines. This setup is great for my class, yours may be different but some kits just might be overkill for the price.

if you just want to fill up the wheel, any will do.im pretty sure(i could be wrong) that STOPTECH doesn't make a kit for our truck's,but they are fastly becoming the racing brake's of choice.SSBC are good...but for$2g's-no way,not me!Now thier caliper upgrade with the right pad's(hawks)and S/S lines is a nice(cheaper)option.I've been running the BAER setup and it is alot of brake. It use's the C4(and everybody else too) PBR caliper so brake pads choice's are everywhere.don't forget to bleed your brake's,the harder you use them the more you should bleed them.

A few points to consider

1.Your brake's are only as good as youe tire's can stick(grip)to the ground!
2.If you can make the ABS work under braking, your brake's are good enough!
3.Big brake's have more mass to disapate more heat,so you have better braking over and over without brake fade.
4.the harder you use your brakes, the more work they are!
5.I KNOW IM FORGETING SOMETHING...........

what are you look for looks, performance or somthing in between? how much do you have to spend? remeber drilled and slotted rotor need more maintinance. negleting your pads on them is costly...very costly ... trust me.

let me see what I can dig-up.

do the BAER kit,run solid rotors everyday and get a second set of pads and rotor for the bling factor when your at the shows.

I've got PowerSlot on mine and I have no complaints about them. I also need to find Hawk Performance part numbers for the front and rear pads/shoes.

Well when I'm home I race mine queit a bit on the track. All I used is CHEAPY plain 40 dollor rotors, FRESH brake fluid, Hawk BLUE's in front, and HP Plus's in the rear. You'd be amazed at how awsome they grab.

Not really sure about wilwood, but all of their stuff seems top notch! I'd recomend trying some Hawk HP Plus pads or HPS's. You'd be amazed at how the stock brakes work with real pads!
