hello my name is william and i recently bought a 1992 S-10 for $400. Just replaced its butt with a g80 locker now on to the motor thats not running atm ive got power to the ignition but the injectors dont fire. ive checked all the fuses and relays and the fuel pump and filter and still cant figure it out. any ideas what could be wrong?:(

Is the pump running or you only verified power to it? It may sound stupid but if you haven't heard the pump running check the wires inside the tank between the sending unit and the pump my 94 had one of these broken inside the insulation causing the pump to not turn on (took me a week to track this down)

The pump turns on for 3-4 sec after i turn it to on then when i try to start it runs like normal btw thanks for the help before to long i think i may have it running :)

Check the pickup coil in the distributor. My injector would not fire because it was not getting a clear signal to fire through the ecm. Apparently the injector is signaled to fire through the ecm by way of a distributor reference signal. Is yours a CPI engine or Throttle body? This is important info.

I'd put money on it being the ignition module under the distributor cap... especially if you have no spray from the injectors and no spark.

I 2nd, or 3rd, the Module under the distributor cap.

pics should be up. i pulled the cap and its got a small ammount of rust so that could very well be the prob. thanks again for all the help:batman_12
